Driveway Repair & Resurfacing in Ottawa

Not every driveway needs to be replaced

We assess the surface damage, address base issues where needed, and apply a fresh asphalt overlay that bonds to your existing driveway. That gives it years of renewed life at a fraction of the cost of a new installation. Our guide explains how to decide: repair, resurface or replace an asphalt driveway.

Repairs we do

  • Hot asphalt resurfacing (overlay) on older driveways
  • Oil patch cutouts and replacement
  • Pothole repairs and depression filling, in hot or cold asphalt
  • Hot asphalt garage door ramps or lips and curb-side entrance lips
  • Gas leak repairs and oil spot neutralizing

Oil patches: cut them out

Oil softens asphalt and breaks down its bond, which leads to crumbling and then a pothole. Small oil spots can be neutralized with a primer. For large oil patches we recommend cutting out that section and replacing it with new asphalt.

Frequently asked questions

Can you resurface my driveway instead of replacing it?

Often, yes. We assess the surface and the base. If the base is sound, a hot asphalt overlay can renew the driveway for a fraction of the cost of replacing it.
